Looking for any info on John HAGUE and Lucinda DAILY. Had son John S. HAGUE, dob 12-13-1837 Noble County, Summerfield, OH. Have no trace of them after that date. I discovered their names listed on John S. HAGUE's death certificate. I also found Lucinda Daily HAGUE married a William JOSEPH [not sure if this is a surname] - 1840's. Thus far, beginning with my father born 1927, all males in this line were "John" HAGUE's. I am at a roadblock.

I am desperate to locate information before making a trip to Morrow Co. in the spring. Please, can anyone help? My long lost gr gr gr grandmother, Phoebe SLYTER, was residing in Cardington Township in 1850 with her daughter, Mary and Mary's husband Alexander PURVIS. In 1851, Phoebe SLYTER married Benjamin JEFFREYS in Morrow Co. I found them living next door to Alexander and Mary "Polly" PURVIS in 1860. By 1870 the whole family is gone excluding Alexander's son, George, by a previous marriage are gone. Alexander and Mary and not buried in any cemetery in Morrow Co. Where did they go? Did Phoebe and hew husband, Benjamin JEFFREYS die there prior to 1870? Are they possibly buried in the PURVIS cemetery? Would appreciate any help.

Help needed to find parents of my great grandfather. His full name was Herman A. JIMMERSON, born 12 Jun 1846 in Sparta, Morrow Co., Ohio. He married Julia Thankfull SMITH in Oregon, Ogle Co., Illinois 5 Feb 1874. He joined the army in the state of Illinois, and lived the rest of his life in Illinois. He died 29 Jan 1924 in Rockford, Illinois. I believe he had a brother named Edward or David born also in Ohio. They both say in the 1880 census that they were born in Ohio, and their father was born in New York State and their mother was born in Ohio. So I assume they were married in Ohio. I have Herman's military records from the Civil war. He was a Corporal in 18th Regiment Illinois infantry Volunteers from the 21st day of March 1865 and was discharged at Pine Bluff, Ark. Dec. 16th 1865. In the records I have he enlisted twice. He enlisted, was discharged for medical reasons, and then enlisted again later. I hope someone can help me with this as I have had no luck for about six years of searching. Mark Blancher, 1340 Brentcrest Dr., Medford, OR 97501.
