The surname I am researching is TISCHER or TISHER, specifically, Fred. His father may have been Kasper. I have 11/03/1843 as Fred's birthdate in Morrow County OH, but since the county wasn't formed at that time I have a problem. Snail Mail: Marilyn Houseman, 45 Chester St., Nashua, NH 03060.

I'm am seeking information on my g-g-g-grandparents Archibald BROWNLEE and Rebecca DANLEY; married aprox. 1834. Their birthdates are aprox. 1812. They lived in Morrow County Ohio, however I do not know if this is where they were born or were married. I think Archibald's father's name may have been Hugh(?). I would appreciate any information; particularly parents names, etc.

While reading the Salt Lake microfilm #0388783 for the marriage of Cora May TISCHER to David KREPPS on 24 Dec 1891, I noticed that a line was drawn through "and both of the same race." I feel very secure in the knowledge that these two people were both white. (Personal knowledge of my Mother, Mabel Beck HOBSON MACY.) Then I looked up the page (77) of vol. 4 of the Marriage Records to see that Melrose GATTON and Emma DARLING had a similar line through the same words. Could anyone explain this?

My grandmother's family was originally from Morrow County, although she (Bertha Stevens Frazier) lived in Newark, Licking County, immediately before marriage to Ray Stockton FRAZIER. Before she died, she told me several stories about family, and gave me three old photo books. Names written beneath photographs include: Inagga Bricker SPERRY, Elizabeth TULLOSS SNYDER, Benjaman TULLOSS (taken by E.J. Potter of Mansfield, OH), John J. TULLOSS, Bruce TULLOSS, Ben. F. TULLOSS, George W. TULLOSS, Aaron FINNEY (taken by John C. Lake's, Shreve, OH), Rachel STEVENS FINNEY photo missing), According to a note, my grandmother's father was Charles Uzziel STEVENS, and his mother was Eizabeth TULLOSS STEVENS. Her photograph was taken by Fred S. Crowell, of Mount Vernon, OH. My grandmother believed that her family came from pioneers who settled in Morrow County, OH prior to statehood. Any information you might have about TULLOSS or STEVENS will be appreciated. Also, I am willing to provide additional names from the photo albums. I have no dates, and some photos do not have any indication where they were taken. Thank you. Margaret Frazier Bowman, 25 Rocky Knob Road, Fairview, NC 28730. I am looking for any information on the STEPHEY and VOLTZ names. My great grandfater was George W. STEPHEY and he married Anna C. VOLTZ in Morrow County June 27, 1867. George died in 1920 and his obituary reads that he was born in Lincoln, Pennsylvania, but I found him in the 1860 Morrow Co. census at the age of 12 living with the families of Peter ECKERT (?) and Bosetta KONKLIN. Any information that anyone has would be greatly appreciated. Mailing address: Marla Lindsay, 420 49th Street East, A- Avenue Lot 148, Palmetto, Florida 34221.
